Our lenses

We have different types of lenses and treatments that can be combined to obtain the most suitable glasses. Their characteristics can be adapted to the lifestyle and visual needs of each person.

What IS BLUE LIGHT?

The visible spectrum is the part of the light that our eyes can see. This light we see every day (like the Sun's) is made up of several colours ranging from violet to red and forming visible light.

Each of these colours has a "wavelength," which is how to measure its energy.

The Sun is the main natural source of blue light, but it is also emitted by the LED lights that feature the screens (computer, mobile, tablet, etc.), making us receive an additional issue in our daily lives. It is important to know that there are different shades of blue light.

It is the blue light that has the most energy and could cause unwanted effects.

2

Blue turquoise light##44441## ##44441## (between 455 and 495 nm)

This is the blue light required for the body, as it helps to regulate our biological rhythms. These are the ones that adjust the sleep-wake cycles.

The concern for prolonged and excessive exposure to blue light means that further long-term studies with a larger population are required, as it could affect visual performance, retina cells and sleep.
